Write our story of the month to win £50

Posted on Sat 14 Apr 2007, 12:40 in Celebrate

Sweeble is running a cash prize competition for the best story each month written by our users. Writing about something that’s happened to you could win you £50.

Each month's top story will be selected by site users and sweeble editors and awarded the £50 prize (or your currency equivalent) and the Story of the Month title.

Selection is from any posted story which gets at least five sweebstar nominations from other users, with sweeble editors choosing the winner, or joint winners, from the top-ranked stories.

Only stories getting five or more sweebstars are eligible - so get your friends and family clicking the nominate button!.

The competition is being sponsored by those nice guys at www.avshopper.co.uk

Perhaps your family has been to hell and back and survived? Maybe you’re at the heart of a big news event? Or chasing a world record - or a personal dream? Perhaps you’ve beaten expectations and changed your life? Or maybe you’re still battling to change it?

Perhaps you work with society’s left-behind, or give your time to help the helpless? Maybe you’re a crime victim dealing with "what next"? Or someone convicted of a crime you didn’t commit?

Or maybe you’re just like the rest of, taking one day at a time until something stops you in your tracks, and you want to write about how that feels?

All stories posted on sweeble during March are automatically entered into the competition, but only top-ranked stories, with at least five sweebstar nominations from other users, are shortlisted and judged.

Our Story of the Month competition sponsor avshopper sells plasmas, projectors, screens and whiteboards and installs super-slick audio visual systems in homes, schools, colleges and businesses. Go see at www.avshopper.co.uk and www.projectorpeople.co.uk

Note: Stories posted by the employees of Sweeble's parent company (Open Book Int Ltd) or Byteflex Ltd, are not eligible.
